Life begins With two umbilical cord, One we cut and one is hoard. Secluded deep in a gene, Like a subtle mortgage lien. Then the training years begin, The right the wrong and the sin. All await our primal urge, Lust, our lust to start its surge. We are salmon let to spawn And we live a desperate dawn. Our drive of procreation And strive for affirmation. With our stay, vanities lay, Lay and heaped in odd display And all that we thought we must, Ends its end, in dusty dust. All of us must make our bid, Due, the irascible Id. The truth lies in "the process," The I, but a passing stress. |
