Fashion Statement Of Love ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 Gloria Vanderbilt's got nothing on me. Her designer jeans fit me to a tee. I ride the Polo pony across this town, and L'Oreal Blonde I wear for my crown. Nothing on these lips but Lasting Color of rose. And Maybelline lashes, for flirting you know. On my cheeks, a little Max Factor blush. Underarms done in Secret ... now hush ! Victoria's Secret is a secret indeed. Hidden for only a lover to see. A gossamer gown of black satin and lace, with nothing else ... but a smiling face. Decked out in fashion, waiting for Mr. Right. I'm afraid, if I might be so bold, That those white shoulders may grow cold When I cheer for Miami to Do a job on FSU. Balladeer ... Did you suffer a blow? To the game I did go ... on October 9 ... the Hurricanes came to Bobby's Bowl ... and mighty blew the wind. It would seem that the Seminoles beat the Hurricanes AGAIN ! In case you think that I am wrong, the game was so much fun. Yes, well, we got our fannies beat. The boys came home in full retreat But those Seminoles got such a scare I hear they changed their underwear! Miami came at 2 -2 There chance for glory pretty through While FSU, with their big guns, In this whole land were number one. What happened? Well, I have to laugh The 'Canes controlled the whole first half! Those little boys from U of M Just ran the dickens out of them. Old Bobby has a memory Of things the way they used to be When U of M won every fight. He hates to hear the words "Wide right!" At the half, he took his team aside And vowed to commit suicide If they would blow another one The way that they had always done. That's how they won...to save their coach That Bobby has a slick approach He would have died in misery If they'd not pulled out victory. But I must say, I'm on their side Our other teams have all but died So, Margie, you can count on me To cheer you on to victory. Just beat those Gators...pretty please And bring that Spurrier to his knees Or else we'll see the Seminoles Playing in the Felon Bowl! |
