Today has been fantastic,
I was visiting my home,
Met my son who is doing well,
And the best friend I've ever known.

Suthern drove up from the bayou,
We laughed-she made me sing,
She's done this for me quite often,
To me she is a queen.

I love my Alabama,
Tis like Lynard Skynard said;
The skies are blue and morals are high,
And religion isn't dead.

They pray in school and rules are strict,
A man still tips his hat,
Ladies are treated with respect,
"Can you imagine that?"

Yes, today has been quite special,
Not too much these days I love,
But I loved my day today dear Lord,
Just a thanks to thee above.

You're not the only one giving thanks, dear one... my visit to your sweet home Alabama was absolutely wonderful... The hours with you fly by all too quickly, but are the best hours of my life. And now I count the hours until I see you again... *G* I've thanked the Lord... and now I thank you for a wonderful day.... SMOOCH!

How I wish your every day could be one you love... for no one deserves happiness more. The way you live, the smiles you give... if life were fair, every day would be special for you! Thank you, sweet Toe... for Sunrise.

As the morning sun warms the coldest night
And brings the light of a new day into the darkness
You've warmed my soul with a joy I never knew possible
And brightened my life with your smile.

JTF: Now you know I'd never do that... I don't see him often enough to make poor Toe have to endure me forgetting all the punch lines! LOL. But I'm glad you brought this one back up... once again, it gives me smiles.

Toerag: You know I wish you many, many special days... but I'm privileged to have been a part of this one!
