Love Is In My Jeans By ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 Grandma always said I'd be hard to catch and hold. Grandma said it was because I was so very bold. She said I needed loving, like the grass needed mowing. She said I'd find a man whose clothes I'd soon be sewing. Grandma's word was Gospel, you didn't read between the lines. If Grandma said it was so ... that would be just fine. The only advice she ever gave me, that made me think she was full of beans, was when she said I needed love... cause LOVE WAS IN MY JEANS ! ------------------ [email protected] |

I love the humor that Marge had. There is a special place in my heart for Marge. I know that is true of many people here and all have their stories. I read Marge's poetry on the boards here, and I really enjoyed her pictures of her grand daughters and her flowers. Many don't know that flowers are a passion of mine. I don't want to grow them. I want to savor them. Marge brought them to us all to savor. Marge and I didn't interact on the PiP boards much. When she wrote a comment to a poem that I posted, it would make my day. Okay, it would make my week. After some time being here, I started to dabble in the Poetry Workshop. I started at the beginning o the forum and would try various types of poetry. Marge noticed. One day, years ago, I received an email from Marge and she said that she was going to try to get the Workshop going - she had noticed my attempts and knew that I would learn - and knew that I wanted to learn. She worked her magic and participated in the lessons. I had always respected Marge, but I grew to love Marge. I miss her - and I smile when I remember what a fierce warrior woman she was when our poetry was being stolen and placed on another site. She was like a Mother tending her puppies. Our poems and we were her puppies. She went after that site and she never stopped dogging them until she gained satisfaction. I miss her. I miss Marge. Alison |
