LongJohn and Lorelei were having a party for some friends. When Lorelei realized LongJohn forgot the escargot again. So she sent him to the beachfront with a bucket and a stool. And told him not to return until he had the whole thing full. So LongJohn took the bucket and wandered to the beach. All he saw was water and sand as far as the eye could reach. As the dark shadows grew longer he sat against a log to rest. The bucket only half full though he had done his very best. Well LongJohn fell asleep right there and slept the whole night through, when morning came he panicked, now what was he to do. He ran home as fast as he could to face an anger straight from hell. Was running up the stairs tripped and there the bucket fell. Lorelei heard him coming and threw the door open wide. LongJohn looked at her expression and was quickly terrified. Not knowing what to say to her he cringed beneath her stare. Turned quickly to the scattered snails and said "come on we’re almost there." |

Lucie, Old Long John and his snails were sure a welcome sight, because seeing how you "got" to Toe and 'Deer, we could have fared well worse! |
