so many people so many cares so many differences here to be shared all of the lives, all of the pain all of the sorrows herein are lain oh there are so many things I could say so many things that encompass this day words of hope and love, or of sorrow and loss which should I choose, oh this is a coin to toss one side or the other, which am I to know? the crier or the lover, can both every truely show? oh I thought about the midday sun, that rises in the sky I thought about the midnight moon, that keeps her watchful eye and both do things in their own way, it's true so with conflicting guidance what should I do? follow the sun or lead the moon, oh how I'm lost what should I do what should I do, oh what is the cost? the cost is yourself, the voices say within or you can listen to your heart, for then you win and I heard that truth with fear in my eyes and tears for it was in that I realized my greatest of fears what would happen to me if I should be wrong will I be remembered as evil or cheered in song? the choices I make today, will they last? or will I become, a shadow of the past.... lots of things in my mind today, hopefully it will all iron out. gotta run. |

Those cheered today can be scorned tomorrow and vice--versa. You just do what you feel comfortable with. Well presented. |

des, are you sure you're not some wise sage sitting high on a mountaintop somewhere waiting for people to ask you the meaning of life? You are way wiser than your age... matter of fact, you're wiser than MY age... LOL Love these lines especially: "follow the sun or lead the moon, oh how I'm lost" and "the choices I make today, will they last? or will I become, a shadow of the past...." Actually, there's more but I thought it would be silly to copy and paste your entire poem in the response section. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Truly shows me that "sometimes you feel like a NUT, sometimes you don't". -luv, pan |

thanks guys. it's rather odd, I think back and realize that I should have posted the intro to thispoem that I originally typed up, but some how I decided not to. oh well. perhaps I'd better stop readin those assimov stories (he always had a way for setting the tone with a little introduction...) thanks for the comments. =-) |
