An Invatation

Let us have a mental tea,
There is much we can discuss.
Flights of childish fantasy,
Or subjects that bother us.

We can talk about the sea,
The sun, the wind,or the rain.
Perhaps some futures to be,
Or just the plain and mundane.

We can talk of wonderland.
Or law and human affair.
Our wishes to understand,
Both of which we can compare.

Let us have a mental tea,
I am sure it will not bore.
Maybe we will find a key,
And unlock a secret door?

What an interesting concept ... a "mental" tea ... what would that taste like, I wonder..? LOL ... guess it would depend on what the subject was ...

Very creative, Seymour ...

I accept the offer my good friend, but could we also have some mental coffee? and since we're having mental coffee, how about some mental donuts? or mental breakfast cake even? either way you go, I would graciously sit down and have some of it.

now what of this mental tea I say
should we set it for tomorrow or today?
or does it even matter?

oh the mental tea will be great
on this we all agree
that mental tea with flavored leaves
it is a favorite of me

lets make it for tomorrow eve
and watch the moon's reprieve
as we sip our tea in moonlight

or perhaps it's coffee, hot and smooth
with sugar and creamer to make it sweet
that's just like how I like my women
if I am ever near them to meet

so I can't wait for out mental tea
tomorrow night with you and me
as we discuss eternity

Sounds good, Sy. Mundane is one of my favorite topics.

Thanks for the charge.

Denise,
Ok, Put in your favorate topic and let it steep.
Nothc,
Just pick a topic and we'll brew it up.
Hoot,
you don't need a glass, just a subject.
Goethe,
Why not coffee sounds good and any crumpets you like. Nice poem.
Balladeer,
Mundane's good I got plenty of that here.
Nan,
I would really like a tea with you fuzzies and all. *L*
