After reading My loving wife and married 57 years. I wrote this not to long ago.

Isabel

Heaven and hell my Isabel,
From the lava mountains came,
Heightened heights of ice from flame,
Sermon symbols of her name.

Heaven and hell my Isabel,
My agonies, my ecstasies,
My bell that tolls both qualities
And seems to sail on fantasies?

Heaven and hell my Isabel,
A tongue that double strike my mind
The hell that I would leave behind
And all the heaven I would find.

Heaven and hell my Isabel,
This gift of life with me the heir,
Heaven a sense beyond compare
And hell a cross that I must bear.

Heaven and hell my Isabel,
Spirit of the cell I dwell,
Bell, the echo and the knell,
Heaven and hell my Isabel.

Heaven, the fruition of need
And hell is in doing the deed.

You have lasted 57 years with your heaven and hell, SY, a great testament to both of you.

Very well written ... and 57 years is a long time to go through Hell, so I suspect things were heavier on the Heaven side!!

DreamEvil,
I have become a master of the foil, always parry never thrust and I encircle and disarm
by a simple "yes dear." Thank you for the read and comment.
Denise,
To you I bow and lower my foil.
Balladeer,
You are my friend weather you like it or not.
Hoot,
I have found you to be a true friend and I don't think you have a mean bone in your body.
