The disease is universal
we're all just feeding the need
Our morality is supposed to cover up
the anxiety that we bleed
Marriages made for money
we've got dollar $ign$ in our eyes
divorce courts handle the details
and cover up the lies

Stick around for the power play
they're going to even up the score
Preachers are so concerned with titheing
they've forgotten what they're preaching for
Politicians push the bills that
pad their wallets the most
And dying has become a business that
pays everyone except the ghost

We're taking goodie powders for our headaches
don't worry, the pain will go away soon
And if we can't get enough in our nostrils
We can always use a flame and a spoon
And if you're mate isn't good enough
play with the one next door
Monogamy is such a rarity
because our bodies always want more

Who said we were more intelligent
than the animals we own?
We're all just looking for
a different type of bone
Anything to keep us
from being alone
We're just feeding the need

How does thought make us better
if we only think of ourselves?
