i see myself... a little girl aged by time, etched with an imperfect past, thats found security in you, my heart safe at last. you see me... as a woman underestimated, by herself and her dreams, that is untrusting of forever, because it had never been what it seemed. i know myself... my ignorant fears, my unnapreciation of who ive become, all the times ive cried in vain, convinced that i was no one. youve learned to know me... in a way i over look myself, you see beauty where this none, and find happiness in me, despite all the things ive done. ive loved you... when it was impossible to overcome, all the pain you caused inside, when your im sorries bled through my skin, and i said it was the last time. youve loved me... when my jealousy has overcome, the love in your eyes for me, when all the trust id given you, was impossible to see. ive touched you... making you understnad what love is, what it means to need someone, and how hard it can be, to let yourself fall in love. youve touched me... giving me the perception i needed, to trust and love once agian, to show me that love is undying, and painful pasts can mend. you see me... ......beautiful, i see myself... ......mistaken. i see you... ......my soul, you see yourself, ......my pain. i ask you... ......to love me, you tell me... ......to trust you. you ask me... ......to need you, i tell you... ......i always have. i want you... ......to promise, you promise, ......to love me. you want me... ......to believe, i tell you... ......promises can break. you feel me... and all the fear in my soul, and finally you know, im afriad to see, that you really are and always will be, ...........in love with me. ------------------ im always the one to say im sorry, but have never once forgave myself...... |
