My love, My heart weeps tears, For your love beckons me still. My dearest, how do I express, the hole, the emptiness? Where you are I am, My life is your breath, and I breathe you inside of me. So weary and frail, The rhythem of my heart. For your breath is gone, I am alone, The half that made me whole, Left too early and ripped away half of my soul. Where does that leave me? Alone on this flooded plain. Never to taste your sweet lips again. Oh, my heart does crieth out to you, beneath the brilliance of the stars and skies of blue. Feel me, I feel you, where ever my existance may lye, Time was of the essence, captured in our eyes. Behold me, my memory, etched inside your mind. For your heart and soul cries out to me, I feel as though I am blind. I search, You are not there. Not here, not anywhere. Departed, but once entwined, I'll Love you forever, My dearest, my sweetie, Sweet soulmate of mine. |

Oh my, how touching, wonderfully expressed words of loss and sadness, thanks for sharing. ------------------ Man can not discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. |

A very powerful poem, ARH-somewhat dark, yet full of love. |

Another great one slipped past me! I can't seem to keep up anymore! I thought I had a fighting chance with the dawn of Open Poetry # 3! But still I can't keep up! This is absolutely lovely, Romantic Heart! So full of sweet longing for one who is lost and never to return. I enjoyed this very much! ------------------ Denise |

Indeed this is beautiful. Gone only in body, not in the heart. |

It's beautiful. Keep holding them in your heart. ------------------ It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E. Henley Visit my poetry website: www.geocities.com/Paris/Musee/9954/ |
