When I'm gone I hope to see
All my friends happy and free
Laughing as they think of me
And remembering how I used to be

Remembering how I'd help them out
Casting aside all their doubts
A hug and a smile was theirs to take
Knowing them I'd never forsake

I want them to remember
Good times and bad
How I could go
From happy to sad

Seeing all the kids and animals I love
Remembering a touch, soft as a dove
Knowing that I'll be watching you
And seeing all of the things that you do

I'd like to think in their hearts I'll remain
And hope this helps them over their pain
But if nothing else they recall of me
Remember the loving heart in me

This is very good, and I'm sure this is the way you will be remembered. But you forgot your poetry...your loving heart will shine in that as well!
