Dressed up in ten thousand hues
The sky was reflecting the ground
Somewhere in the garden of Muse
Leaves were concealing a noun

Collecting the nectar of thoughts
Poets and writers resembled the bees
Filled with meanings, ideas and words
Ripened verses hung off the trees

Blowing around the worn out cliches
Autumn’s breeze swept through the garden
Breathing the mist straight into my face
The evening seemed lively and ardent

Lurking around the face of the clock
Hands of time crept on their toes
And leaving the garden I felt on my back
Stares of praise and bewildered applause

I fell in love and kept on falling

And stares and applause are quite due...well written Master. Kind of a mate between reality and a dream world on this one. I like!!

Another superb piece, my friend! Deserving of resurrection, I say. Glad I didn't miss it this time around.
