I gazed into the darkened sky
and wished upon a star.
That you might feel the love I send
no matter where you are.

I dropped a penny in a well
and closed my eyes up tight.
Hoping that you feel my love
surrounding you at night.

I know the distance seems so great
the miles stretch between.
And though I can’t be there with you
don’t be afraid to lean.

You see my love my strength is yours
and I will carry you.
When you feel frightened and alone
and don’t know what to do.

I know that were it possible
you’d be right here with me.
But God in heaven has a plan
that only he can see.

So when your feeling lonely
and I seem to be so far.
Look into the sky my love
and wish upon "our" star.

Wonderful poem, Lucie.
I needed a message of hope right now. This is beautiful.

So beautiful Lucie, it touched something, somewhere inside of me. And I think that is the biggest compliment you could get!
Thankyou!!!

Something I wish I'd written.

Lucie...you're so talented in so many different ways....Humor, serious, love, erotica....Now then.....not saying that humor, serious and love are anything to be taken lightly....but just what are you doing this evening....say, about one a.m.?
