Our Goodbye They say that love can give your heart wings. I never believed that until I saw my heart fly back to Dallas. I stood at the window, waving as your plane taxied down the runway. Not knowing if you could even see me. Not really caring. I just knew I had to wave goodbye To the man who stole my heart. You called me later, to let me know you made it safely. And to tell me that you saw me waving. If I had known you could see me, I would’ve blown you kisses. ------------------ It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E. Tara, you are well deserving of this new found love and if this is any hint of future things to come because of your new found inspiration, we are quite fortunate too. This is a remarkable piece of work. Hugs Ruth ------------------ Man can not discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. |

Ruth, thank you. He's been inspiring my poetry for a while, whether he knew it or not. There's a lot more poetry in my soul, inspired by our weekend together. I pray to find the words to express all that I feel. Julie & Isis, I also hope he'll be back soon. We're discussing a few dates but they all seem to far away. Sey and Julie Jordan Scott, thank you. ------------------ It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E.
