Little angel with hair of gold.
return to heaven’s warm enfold.
So glad I am you touched my world
you are Mommy’s precious girl.

Though life was short you lived it well.
Touched many hearts and made them swell
with love and laughter, your tender smile.
Though you only stayed for just a while.

I send you now to God above
fill all the heavens with your love.
Play nicely with the children there.
My little angel with golden hair.

Not all poems I write are about me personally, yet they do come from my soul.

Ok Luc....this one is too sad. We need more of your happy, carefree ones. Good thing it wasn't any longer, I may never have come out of it! love ya

Wonderful poem Lucie...sooo sad, though.

Good thing you posted the disclaimer, at least I won't have to bombard you with concerning emails this time...hehe

I can only ditto all of the others. How lovely that Hoot may use this to help others through the grieving process.

Thanks Lucie....sometimes it gives parents great comfort to know they are allowed to grieve their loss and to know there are others that have felt all the emotions they are going through and it is normal to feel that way.

I too had my heart in my mouth for a moment there until you said it hadn't actually happened to you. Beautifully done, you touched on the emotions well, I know as I've been there. Thanks.

This poem touched my heart. I almost lost my twin girls at birth and my son and could not imagine the pain of losing something so precious. Very beautiful and heart breaking. Excuse me now for I must find kleenex.

Very heartwrenching. I wouldn't even want to imagine this kind of pain. Ditto the Kleenex.
