A poem written about someone else. Hypothetical and yet, I know somewhere, there is someone just like it. Here's to them! Here we go Again ya see 'Cause this time it sure won't be me Who gets kicked out in the snow By smokin' my last cig In your living room The holidays are splendid huh? Family and friends. Well yeah, but what about my smokes? They tend to stick around They tend to be my friends and fam. Hey, what do you know? I'm not screwing up my life I'm sure not at all So don't be telling me to put it out You can't tell me what to do Alright, you win I'm leaving, see? To go smoke outside in the snow And watch the flakes go in my coat And freeze me by the porch light glare Here we go again ya see But I guess it was me Who was told to leave your humble home And was thrown out in the snow |
