Reverie

I sit high upon a star
Dream about you from afar
Hold my breath in wait
and try to contemplate
what our lives could be
if you were here with me…

We'd dance along the moonbeams
Sleep in heaven's sweet dreams
Sparkle in the sun's rays
Kiss the dawning of a new day

Each night would hold a fresh surprise
We'd walk where destiny resides
Paint delight with colored rainbows
Inhale peace each time the wind blows

In every sound we would rejoice
Love is spoken with one voice
We would sing it through the skies
A joyful noise that never dies

We'd know that when two lovers meet
Two hearts belong to just one beat
We'd see through each other's eyes
to find the truth that fear denies

I sit high upon a star
and wonder where you are…

That one voice is truly a choir to my heart and soul.
Wonderful verse my dear.

Good one! -Guess who
(I'll give you a clue: You went to my dad's mom's on Thanksgiving)

You must be mistaken. I did not go to anyone's mother's home for Thanksgiving...in fact, I was traveling.
