You should come and see my mountain,
I wish I still lived there.
It's down in Alabama,
Beauty beyond compare.

Leaves of many colors,
God's beauty extraordinaire,
Nature's glory showing,
For all of us to share.

Chameleon's can change color,
Lilacs turn from green to blue,
But Fall brings out how nature,
Can change green to glorious hues.

There's little that can compare,
To what our eyes can see,
There's nothing you can purchase anywhere,
That God gives us for free.

Kodak cannot reproduce,
The colors that he'll show ya,
Nor can a box of simple crayons,
Those offered from Crayola.

Colors hallucinogenic,
But no drugs you have to take,
Just look down off my mountain top,
God's splendor can't be faked!

There are times, my dear friend, when your talent simply takes my breath away... if your mountain is as beautiful as this poem, it's an incredible sight... Well done! I almost expected to look out my window and see the splendor you described.

A beautiful tribute to the wonders of nature. I think I have a mountain that's similar--cause the feelings sure are.

Iloveit...We all have a beautiful "mountain' or something....It's just taking the time to notice I think. Life passes by so quickly now a days...we just don't stop to notice...yanno?

Beautiful mountains there Toe. We've got some nice ones around here too, but unfortunately most of the time we seem to lose them to the smog. Again, well done.

You are still on a mountain, Toe. It's a mountain of talent for making people laugh and feel good about things...and that ain't no small hill of beans!

You may be the world's largest smartass(as you professed to me) but you have an amazing character Sir. To be able to really see and appreciate a spectacular view such as this, you have to have character. Thankyou for this my friend.

This is one time when Balladeer couldn't bear to be "mean" to you, Toe... *G* And his words are so true... You don't just give laughter, though you give that generously. You leave words like this... for when a soul needs a brief vacation. Thank you, dear friend... it is so lovely!
