Was it a dream

Once upon a restless sleep.
A restive thought came out the deep.
It reap behind my eyes closed numb,
And stayed within my mind to steep.

A shapeless shape of edgeless sight,
A floating specter of the night.
A forming figure standing glum,
An awesome sight of random slight.

Careless free as in oversee.
And dressed in striking grey pongee,
Sent a numb that struck me dumb
And silently come at me.

I tried so hard to speak, relate,
With open arms commiserate.
I felt my mind in warm succumb,
In haunting silent patient wait.

He waved me back in quiet mime
And whispered me it's not your time.

This was absolutely chilling. What a nightmare this was....or was it? **eerie, spooky music playing in the background, and a couple of rattling chains for good measure** Most excellent, Seymour!
