I am the moonlight on the ocean, I am the whirlwind in it's fury, I am the scent of Springtime gardens, I am water in it's sweetest purity. I am the summer warmth caressing your skin, I am the glowing embers within your heart, I am the crystals of freshly fallen snow, I am the sweetness of a freshly baked tart. I am the truth hiding beneath the veil, I am the ocean as it exhales upon the shore, It's gentle sounds a melody, No tempest to endure. I am the stars above the slumbering hills, I am the warmth of the desert sand, I am a voice of wisdom and peace, That can be heard across the land. I am the blinding snowstorm, I am the mirror imaged lake, I am the howling storm winds, I am the terrorizing earthquake. I am a haunted soul, Sometimes emotionally lacking, I am the choppy ocean waves, That give the shores a lashing. I am the nuturing mother, I am the loving wife, I am beauty, grace and wisdom, I am a part of life. ------------------ Through poetry my heart and soul truly sing... ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |
