Have you walked into this garden? Have you tarried by this stream? Have you bathed in this blue twilight? Or glimpsed but in a dream. Have you thought upon the future? Have you dwelt upon the past? Have you contemplated mysteries? Afore comes the end of the path. Caressing breezes stir to lie together in this hill Bathed in soft sweet moonlight Gently glowing still. Embracing warmth surrounds As branches rustle low. Life beats a chord around you if only you but know. Within each soul a fragment burns of Ancient Savage race. Within each heart there glows a touch of everlasting grace. Within each mind there does abide a vision yet to be. Within each eye from deed inside reflects eternity! ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. What remains is the poetry! ~*~ |
