Can a man survive without a love? A gentle touch a soothing smile A special dove sent from above Who doesn't mind to stay awhile Would his heart ache like mine? When at length we are apart Even the smallest measures of time Would pierce sore like sharpened dart Would smiles be grand when you arrive? A warm embrace to catch up time lossed Feeling your love to keep me alive Without you my life's like an ocean tossed Man can't survive without a love Or gentle touch or soothing smile Or special dove sent from above Who doesn't mind to stay awhile For this I know of my stay in time A simple truth comes into view That I know *my* life won't be sublime Without your love, without you ------------------ Bon Appetite! |
