Would that I could
explain my intense obsession
thirst for your touch
longing for your voice
and how I bask in your loving me

You love to me is like
the fresh crisp air filling my lungs
making me gasp suddenly

Your love to me is like
the warm summer breeze
brushing my skin and warming my face

Your love to me is like
Christmas lights and fireworks
and warm great moments of time
stretched to their breaking point

Your love to me is what I cherish above all
Your love to me is everything that keeps me breathing
and if I have but one breath left
know that it will be your name on my lips
