When Does Sporting Season End????

Football, basketball, baseball season
Not to mention soccer and golf.
Wrestling, hockey, even NASCAR racing
I don't have time to cough!

I used to dislike most of these sports
Over time they've corrupted my mind.
Being the only female among the bunch
I have to join the crowd or be left behind.

Now I find myself telling them the scores
Of the games they never saw.
Sports mags and books overflow my bookcase
Where once sat my Redbook and McCall's.

I'm proud of how I handled the change
From not caring to being a huge fan.
But I put my foot down when asked if I'd mind
To replace a vase with a blue Foamy Hand!
