The promise Betraying one The one is myself The happiness The joy The tears one has cried The hurt and the pain All up inside I took all of what I loved The love I found Praying that somehow, some way This can be healed Trusting in God to help me Help me to find what lies beneath Retreating into my shell I don't want to go there again The love I found that drew me out I can't lose it now I do not know the words These words just touch barely the surface Of what I feel and what I have to say I want so badly to give what is locked up inside Hidden away in the back of the mind Tucked away where one can't find Chaotic, abstract These things I feel and see Only I understand, sense, and perceive These wonderful things tied up in me I can barely explain One was so close, but now far away Second guessing all of my dreams Everything that I love EVerything that I still hold true I stomped on them ever so hard Hurting Pain No one grasps this pain I feel The regret The dream The hope I am free to let go No judgemnet my way All the pain it flew away Far away Things have settled Heart calmed No longer there to hurt me Not me hurting myself As I once had thought Lies caused confusion Self protection locked me up Not my imagination Intuition, the vibes Caused pain from the other Mind clear Heart at peace Comfortable Free Bridgette ------------------ Creation of woman from the rib of Man: She was not made from his head to top him; nor out of his feet to be trampled upon by him; but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be loved."
