I woke up this morning, my mind in a haze. A reocurring condition, as always these days. I ran to the mail, to see what was there. Finally it came! Her letter was here! With trembling fingers, I caressed the seal. Nervous to open it, but away I did peel. I read the inscription, written in lovely black ink. A sweet song from her soul, took my heart to the brink. It finally opened, so I reached deep inside. And pulled out the letter, in which pictures did hide. I held in my hand, the face of my love. Her green eyes so bright, next to skin like a dove. Cute tiny red nose, (a little too much sun.) But as I sat staring, I knew she was the one. I've told myself before, she has captured my heart. But now that I've seen her, I can't stand that we're apart. |

Oh my !!...You're in big trouble, you know the symptoms: loss of appetite, gazing at stars, lack of concentration and lots of romantic poems, oh and a smile as wide as the ocean... Christopher, I share your excitement!
