Michael's Account I, Michael, one of the high angels of light Sit up in heaven and stare into the night Looking upon the confusion of a work that will be A masterpeice by the artist of whom the darkness flees My place is still quiet, my patience leaving I look at nothing but looks can be decieving The Artist can see what my portals cannot As he circles the confusion scoping the right spot But then in an instant his revolutions have ceased He has found his angle he must be pleased Now ready to begin, he has all unction Ready to put his artistic power to function The moment drawing closer all heaven in hush The Artist so great he doesn't need a brush When finally the silence is split in two The plan of the great Artist comes into view For all of heaven looks, humbled in anxious delight As the artist mightly begins his creation and says... "Let there be light!" |
