If I could have a single wish,
It would be to live by the shore,
With peace and serenity to surround me,
Nothing but nature's aquatic wonders to endure.

I'd live down by the sea,
Where I could see that beauty every day,
I'd have an abundance of love in my heart,
No confusion or feelings of hurt would venture my way.

I'd stroll along the beach tracks,
Breathing in the ocean smells,
Caressed by whispering winds,
Revell in watching the tidal swells.

The warm sun blessing all below,
Warming our world all around,
Watching children frolick and glow,
Laughter, surf and birdsong the only sounds.

Laying on the sun bronzed shore,
Without a care in the world,
Enjoying nature's oceanic abundance,
In the sand my toes are curled.

Watching the child of my soul,
Shrieking with glee as he runs up the beach,
His laughter and joy contagious,
Heaven is in reach.

For me they are precious gifts of life force,
To warm the soul and heart,
And remind me the happiness within,
Is the place where serenity starts.

The sun, surf and sand renew me,
They always lift my soul,
Not just a holiday, a rebirth,
A happiness as yet untold.

Isis, this was wonderful. One thing holding me back too, MONEY. Otherwise I'd be with them man I'm on the plane! Great job girl!

Simply lovely, Isis, the sea is a beautiful thing indeed - but it can be cruel as well.

Loved the imagery in this Isis...(a gift I knew the vacation would give you), I too love the water and always wanted to live where I could look out my window and look at the endless sea.

Severn, I even love the sea when it is being cruel, that is if I am a bystander onshore, not on a boat !
