An acquaintance Tall …maybe not… Dark, and not seen clearly through any form of light This is me The everlooming figure of expulsion It’s so easy…in the head…to help, But so utterly impossible in all reality Refuge can be taken in verse, song, words, or sounds Love must be the sanctuary ………… In a battle against this preoccupation I cannot surrender my me …I… I cannot surrender myself ………… So for a day of eternity, I shall try, With boundless efforts, I shall try, And hide from you all… My nervousness… Of unknown and awkward situations… by Brandon Dinsmore |
