Time is such a mystery, The days seem oh so long, But the years fly by, they're history, And too soon they've come and gone. We should grasp each hour with passion, Every minute should be cherished, So quickly our life passes, And all but memories perish. Take advantage of your dreams, Make all you can come true, Because no matter how long it seems, The years are so very few. Think about next weekend, As time quickly ticks away, But you'll live one hour longer, At two a.m. Sunday. [This message has been edited by Toerag (edited 10-25-1999).] |

Well Toe, you never cease to amaze me. Such true words you write and then surprise its daylight savings time. All wrapped together, it makes a lot of sense and a wonderful, heartfelt job you did! I really enjoyed this! |

Toerag: When a friend finished admiring the first 3 verses and laughing over the reminder to change our clocks, she looked around and said "Why am I here?" Your poem made her wonder why she spends so many long days at a job she hates when the years with her 3 teenaged daughters are flying by. It's a reminder so many of us should heed... well done! Balladeer: I'm blonde... you expect coordination??? LOL. At least I had the sense to cushion the floor around my desk! LOL |
