Listening to every heart

To Thee

To be to thee as a glass ripple
through the window of your soul,
gazing through wavy pane aged
a ripple cast from old.

To be to thee that ripple,
from a child’s skipped rock,
skip once, twice, touch, splash,
then ripple away from the dock.

To be a shadowy ruffling of sound
wafting to your inner ear,
to softly share a sensual rippling
a heart’s song you hold dear.

To be yon wavelet of golden ray
and seek thou in pensive light,
the day’s last warmth safe in thee,
and share then evensong’s delight.

To be a ripple of love’s allure,
coursing, sweeping through our blood,
enfold the ripples of thou’s touch,
through the undulating veil of love.

What a peaceful, warm feeling this one left me with ... thank you for this gift, Sunshine.

I loved this. It got me thinking about ripples. I might have to write a poem.

Alluring to the end. Each line better than the previous. What a build! More...More!
