To Thee To be to thee as a glass ripple through the window of your soul, gazing through wavy pane aged a ripple cast from old. To be to thee that ripple, from a child’s skipped rock, skip once, twice, touch, splash, then ripple away from the dock. To be a shadowy ruffling of sound wafting to your inner ear, to softly share a sensual rippling a heart’s song you hold dear. To be yon wavelet of golden ray and seek thou in pensive light, the day’s last warmth safe in thee, and share then evensong’s delight.
