(Dedicated to a friend) I'm writing to you to say how much I love you. I saw you as you were walking alone yesterday. I waited for you to say come with me-over here I wanted to join you to kneel and pray. As evening grew near I gave you a sunset to close your day; but only your fears appeared. So I gave you my grace; placing my hand upon your head and shoulder; you didn't recognize my face. I watched as you fell asleep resting beneath the covers, so I sprinkled moonlight on your satin pillow and angel face. As you awakened-I saw your pain, rushing-to face yet another day. But you didn't notice my tears for you, mixed in with the rain. Again today-you looked so sad, alone, and confused; It makes my heartache because I understand. I know it's hard for I was once there. We will always be here-Father and I; just call our name and we will show you truth in answer to prayer. My words I express in the lustrous grass, request the songs of birds that sing, breath it into the essence of flowers, whisper into the leaves of shimmering mass; I perfume the mountain air, clothe you with the warmth of the sun, splash aura in morning dew, placing the waves upon your hair. My dear sweet dove please know how much I care, for all these things I send to you; All messages to you of my love.
