alone i am,
alone i'll be.
without your love
for eternity.
you left me here
to start again,
all by myself
without a friend.
my heart you broke,
my life you took,
but still i melt
when you chance to look.
no one can take your place.
i'll always have this hole.
groping for you in the dark,
and you don't even know.
