I should have dusted the furniture and vacuumed the carpet; But I got down in the floor and played with my kids instead. I should have washed the windows and the laundry; But I went to the park with my kids instead. I should have scrubbed the ring in the tub and mopped the kitchen floor; But I went downtown for ice cream with my kids instead. I should have done the shopping and cut the grass; But I'm grateful I spent the time with my kids instead. Edna L. Nelson |

Edna, welcome! Like you, I did those things and never regretted it! I often said I'd wash the windows when the kids were raised and gone...just now got around to it! My gosh the neighborhood has changed! |

Bravo!! My feelings exactly...... I can't get enough of mine. Now, if they'd just stop letting the cat out and mommy having to rescue him.....all would be well. |

You're a welcome addition, Edna... The good news is.. If you do a really good job at all of those "instead" things with them, they bring back their babies so you can continue to do even more "instead" things with THEM!!! ------------------ Nan's Morsels netpoets.net/nan/index.html |

Thanks, Edna, for sharing with those of us who couldn't that which you were able. My priorities were messed up...now I'm focusing on my grandkids. |
