Don’t light a candle for my remorse I’ll chase my dreams on endless course And never wonder where they alight But dream your fingertips tonight Through fields of fresh cut flowers mourn That I should wake and thus stillborn And for every fallen daffodil I wish my dreams would lay me still Missing pieces found at last Now I know what might have passed Now I see what’s black and white But blessed with all the colors bright I love a nightmare to bathe in sweat I love a sin I can’t regret A nursery rhyme that’s out of whack Point your finger and three point back I love you and you love me I love a dream where I’m still free Dreams are my imaginary friends Dreams and I love to pretend ----Only in dreams Beautiful dreams Roy Orbison [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 06-26-99).] [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 06-26-99).] |
