Look deep into my eyes, what do you see? Sadness, lonliness... yes. A scared little girl in an uncertain world. Yet these eyes have seen pain and loss and love. They are not pure and good, yet long for that which no one can give. These eyes see hope. Look deep into my eyes, and you will see a part of me that is yet to be free. I need to release and let you inside. To hold me until the end of time. Look deep into my eyes, what do you see? Perhaps...one day you will see the look in your eyes as you look at me. |
