Oh, more like You I long to be Love as You love, so true, so free Forgiving all, so tenderly Yes, more like You, Lord, let me be. To be like You - my heart's desire Ignite in me Your holy fire Please, cleanse me now oh Purifier To be like You, Lord, I aspire. To see like You - I long to see The best in all - oh can it be To see their need just like you see? To see like You, Lord, is my plea. Instill in me Your servant heart Your humbleness, oh Lord, impart All pride and self, please, let depart And set my course, Lord, by your chart. And may I ever seek the lower seat Oh may I never grieve Your Paraclete Oh may I ever, Lord, sit at Your feet And may I ever see Your grace complete. your ------------------ Denise |

Amen. Beautifully written. ------------------ "Nunc lento sonitu dicunt, morierus" (Now as I hear this bell tolling softly for another, it says to me, "Thou must die.") |
