as you lay ready for bed. I imagined every sigh and moan, as they rolled right through my head. Though we had talked this way through the night, to me it seemed time stood still. Nothing before you has felt so right, nothing again ever will. You talked to me of your kids and life, then of many random things. You were kind and asked about my wife, then just plucked at my heartstrings. You lay in your bed drifting to sleep, far away and all alone. You hung up and my heart took a leap, no more romancing the phone! ©1999 DreamEvil ------------------ Shall I indulge in flights of fancy hampered by clipped wings? DreamEvil© |

DreamEvil your thoughts of others are so kind especially when you can talk of life. I wish that someone would talk me (never mind hug me) to sleep at night. Hugs would be fine too! |

And when you hung up the phone Her essence was gone and you were left with the bone. sorry about that it took me some time to stop laughing. This is a wonderful piece and I enjoyed reading it. Your friend, Sy |

A nice departure from your darker work. Is this poet in love perchance? Hope you don't go squishy on us! |

'Twas a true delight to write this piece, though as for love, I rarely kiss and tell. |

What a pleasure to read this poem...very sweet, indeed. Wonderful job, DE. ------------------ "Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value of joy you must have somebody to divide it with." *Mark Twain* |

Wonderful Dream, like always. Although these days it seems to be 'romancing the computer', don't ya think? ------------------ *Krista Knutson* I see the world through the loving eyes of my heart, and suffer the pain of unfulfilled visions. -- Daniel L. Miller |
