I'm headin' to the Adult Site,
It's gonna be my home,
I don't want to start a fight,
Or have a deleted poem.

It's not a very active site,
Don't know why it's so ignored?
But my best friend was quite polite,
'Bout my stuff that's not quite the "norm."

I only post for laughter,
It's just the way I am,
But I wouldn't send my daughter,
To read my stuff either man!

Toe: The only advantage I can think of to having you confine your work to one site is that it will be easier to find. For I will surely be looking for it!!

I don't think much of a friend that would make you feel unwelcome or uncomfortable... I think I'd first direct a child towards the teen forum. For to be honest, there are very few poems posted here that I'd consider suitable for children... whether they have a dirty word, thought, or even innuendo doesn't matter... most of them have an adult perspective. I would, however, not be ashamed for my Dad to see them... and he's an 80 year old Baptist deacon.

I don't think ya understand dear...I think in this case they're right...I wouldn't want to send my daughter here and see some of this crap I write! (Notice the rhyme?)....But this is a great place, and they are nice enough to offer options, and the talent and wisdom here should not be "infected" with other than good clean wholesome type posts.......I would have to agree with this 100% now that I think about it. Yanno I love the guy....and, as much as I hate to agree with the prick, he's right yanno...LOL.....besides, I think I have gone "overboard" many times and Nan has just let me slide, and she shouldn't...nor should I take advantage of her undying patience either......I'm not offended, nor even hurt or feel badly.....just agree...You know how I am? Sometimes I just don't think about who all will read my stuff....and that's not a good thing.

i am sorry to see you decide to move to post in a different area. i wish you luck, and with time i spose i shall go and read what you have written in the other places. i feel that your humor and perspective will be missed here.

I apologize, Toe. I know you and I can say things to each other that women would never let slide. Incidently, you have a great talent in you for the words... I also apologize to everybody else for my complicity. My teenage daughter might do better in Teenagers - but I wanted her to read Nan's poems so she could see what a marvelous language we have. I'll get a password for Adult... I'd hate to lose track of you for too long... could be damaging to my sterling reputation.

I do better as the foil of a poem rather than a rapier wit. balladeer has put me in my place just like you have in the past. my spirit is broken. I am no longer the noble kitty-kicker my children once were so proud to take to school for show and tell. Now, I am just a shadow of the man I used to be. Pewrhaps somebody could post now and tell me how wonderful I am? OK?

I rarely respond to Toe because I'm usually in pain from LOL, and cannot get my fingers to respond. I agree, some of his stuff belongs in the Adult section. However, if we can all bounce back and forth, then I think some of his other "lighter" work shouldn't be placed here, just so young'uns can watch out for the boogie man. After all, Hallowe'en will be here before long.

Oops. I may have just given him some food for thought.
