Surrounded by mementos of the life I used to live Never knowing when the walls of Fate would finally give Manuscripts of one-act plays lie dusty on the floor Poetic demon in my head is screaming out for more Sparks which seared across my soul can never more be seen Alarm clock of reality has waked me from my dream Rejection slips, like butterflies, are pinned up on the wall In closets, on the ceilings, and down every single hall Watching archives turn to dust, the ruin all around I bow to unseen audience and then chamber a round Alicat |

Alicat, I really enjoyed the description you have used here. I can see it all in my mind's eye. ![]() ------------------ ~onevoice~ "She looked at her life like lines, never-ending, constantly forming, reforming and bending." |

Short yet strong, I felt as if I were there. I liked this 'un, I did. ------------------ "Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value of joy you must have somebody to divide it with." *Mark Twain* |
