(just an odd meandering of thought...not really a poem) where do dreams go when you're wide awake? do they hide in a soft white cloud does the demon under your bed steal away your dreams when you're wide awake? do you pinch yourself when you dream, or when you're wide awake? just to make sure..... when you're wide awake are you really fast asleep? is your dream a reality? true life just a nightmare? where do dreams go when you're wide awake? ------------------ "I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than to be crowded on a velvet cushion." .....Henry David Thoreau |

Maybe they stay in your heart... ------------------ *Elizabeth* "Dwelt a maid belov'd and cherish'd by high and low, But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..." |

I've often wondered that myself! Perhaps we just visit a land of dreams, and we're the ones who leave. |

Sometimes meandering of thoughts can be quite beautiful when written down! I think dreams are the most interesting occurances. They are filled with so much meaning, and answers that you think you don't know. ------------------ ~onevoice~ "She looked at her life like lines, never-ending, constantly forming, reforming and bending." |
