There is something like sweet rain but softer that fills the pool of each eye with something like sadness but deeper than a night with no moon or a morning with no sun. There is something like the sadness of a grey dawn before sun bends its particle rays of light deep into the heart Of a morning canopy Forcing its way into night Where dark and light change hands. A Longing for fire and night The beauty of things togeather ceaseless and old as the water, A memory curled down my face. Sweet rain through sunlight I allways want to save you Put you in the crease of my hand So I can show what I have found that there is no distance between things only a continuation of what will be. In that lies mortal desparity. In a voice, in the eyes of a person I know, there is something like sweet rain but softer Where the soft patter has finally gone And a last leaf drops Its heavy load I try to catch it before its beauty is stolen away. |
