This poem's about how I've stupidly fallen in love with someone with a boyfriend.

A Means to an End
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A plague of indecision
a blindness in the light
the sickness starts to swell
as I fight a losing fight
To turn your back and leave
to do what you know is right
to stay inside the shell
and live through sleepless nights
Or through some self-righteous indignation
to be self-centered to the bone
make real the imagination
not to e alone
To let it fester and decay
or end it in a flash
to take it all away
or endure the driving lash
Once again the brunt
of some unholy cosmic joke
they sit in silent laughter
and watch it all go up in smoke.
------------------
Wish in one hand, then shit in the other and see which one fills up first.
This is a sad piece of writing, I can understand all that. I do not have the answer to this, but I wish you luck. Just be nice to her, and if she's not nice back, then she's not worth it.
~just voicing my opinion~
I feel that you captured your turmoil quite well. I think we've all walked that path at one time and can relate. I had to giggle when I read the last line...that's something my uncle used to say a lot when I was a child.
