Candelabra Where once brigades of light did light, The darkest times of darkest night, Teardrop candles, remain abreast, In dust, the candelabra rest. Where light and music made a ball And phantoms danced upon the wall, And where whispers behind a fan, Gave mention of a courtesan. Where dreams gave birth to fantasy, Desires to sensibility, A world of boldness, care and dare, A time of time beyond compare. In dust, the candelabras rest, Each teardropped candle, cold abreast. Time's once sweet morrow, dried e'er more: I rise in sorrow, close the door. |

Sy tghis had a really neat twisting message - I liked it a lot, especially the way you left me feeling melancholic. |
