Old Man Rocking Galloping on horseback through the woods. Sinking house with shattered windows. Old man rocking on metal chair. Waves, as off into the distance you ride. |

this poem has that certain something i can't quite put my finger on, considering i usually prefer rhyme, that means it must be extremely well done...hope you didn't fall asleep in that metal rocking chair? |

Elvira: Thank-You for your response, it means a lot since this style is not your favorite. I was thinking of a lonely old man living alone in the wilderness, and how often it seems no one would notice, as he wished they would. |

LD: I like your poem. It reminded me very much of one I wrote a long time ago called "Everyone Knows Her"... I think I'll post it! *G* |
