Colors of Myself I'm white as the snow, quietly falling, new, blanketing to form a new terrain of my life. I'm red as the blood that flows quickly and furiously feeding cells as I produce new pain, fear, and anger. I'm blue as the ocean, too deep sometimes to even explore my depths. I'm orange as pumpkins during a season of shedding my old leaves and preparing for the cold chill of my own heart. I'm yellow as the sun's rays, making my life warm and full of brightness. I'm green as new leaves begin to sprout in my life, bringing hope and meaning to a world that does go on. I'm brown as bark, protecting my roots that feed my soul and help me to reproduce living among myself. I'm black as night that brings ending to allow for new beginnings, without having the light to guide me. |

Very interesting read! Very creative way to explore your inner self - through color! My grandmother has many beliefs about colors - long story, sometimes I think she half kookie.... ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..."
