Love smells good Nothing compares to the Lilac's scent Such brilliance in color Their fragrance enticing But one of the few flowers that when you pick them they die very very quickly Always saddened me as a child when I brought them to my mom and they were all dead by the afternoon I truly felt sad that I had "killed" them So I learned Sometimes you have to leave things where they are so they will survive And not try to possess everything your heart desires (p.s. notice you never get a bouquet of Lilacs for your birthday??.. Those florists know better (hahah) |

That was cool RedWriter (though I admit to being wary when I saw the title!) ------------------ Where did I go wrong, I never needed this before, I need a woman, to help me feel. -Live- |

A very serious message in this flowerbed. Too bad more people don't heed it. |

sorry Christopher.. hahah.. but if I "could" smell love I'm sure it smell just like lilacs.. soft, tender, but a strong strong scent, kinda grips ya. (smile) ------------------ Kay-lynn **A dream is a wish your heart makes :) |

So.... Choose what you pick but don't pick what you choose?? Did I get it?..hahaha That was nice and sweet...just how I like things. (smile) Personally, I like daffodils! I always smile when I see them 'hosting' away each spring. I wouldn't pick them though...I'd be afraid I wouldn't see them again same time next year. Lilacs are my favorite. In my old backyard, I had dozens of trees that gave me thousands of lilacs when end of May came around. And the smell... there is no better smell to describe love... Wow, thanks...you made me remember home... |
