I have to say that 4 individuals inspired me to write this poem today...they are: E-mail Love by poet deVine....A stream of digits by blueloon....Cyber Seas by the infamous Ron....and Mike, who posted his version on E-mail Love by deVine...
The following was created for everyone in this room - for every poet, and every participant ...LOL

.........................My Keystroke Lover.................................

Such a safe Cyber sanctuary -
minds can fall in love "real time"
Such a beautiful encounter
when your keystrokes meet with mine...

I sit here as you type & take
the journey through your heart -
Your words become our foreplay on the screen -
it's quite like art.....

You share with me - I share with you
Unselfish with our time -
I read your lines of poetry...
How beautifully they rhyme....

I'm falling deep in love now -
Not because I see your face -
But because I know your soul inside
That sacred - secret place...

Funny - how the Net finds two -
Allows their screens to mesh...
Brings them to a room so intimate
Erotic minds & not the flesh...

Your rhymes they cause my heart to soar -
sometimes I laugh or sigh --
How stimulating words can be
In your world of verse - I fly !!

I may never know your name -
and may never see your face...
But you are my keystroke lover
With our poems.....we embrace....

I must confess I am confused,
By your cyber love confessions.
Now my fingers are feeling used,
And they gotten testosterone aggressions.

They used to be much softer, when
I posted here this morning.
Now they sense love in the cyber winds,
And they're hammering out this warning.

My whole body isn't mine to share,
With a cyber queen or princess.
But I if loaned my fingers, on a dare,
Would you make them type til senseless?

I liked your poem. It was erotic. I hope you find that person. :-)

Well, I'm really not LOOKING for someone to torture into LOVE...however, flipping back through the pages of this forum earlier today, I noticed this topic kept coming up! I thought it would be fun to write something that we could probably all confess to experiencing at one time or another...And I must confess, some of you guys in here could "TALK" me into anything! LOL I've never seen so many smooth talking Romeos in one room before in my entire life!! I loved your addition to mine - I laughed and laughed and laughed & felt I'd violated you ! That absolutely made my day! Many thanks - you're very talented...I like your stuff...

Poet...I am totally in agreement with this one. It is amazing how words can touch hearts. Very nicely done!
Discovery and Wonder

Two souls...
Reaching out...
Find each other.

Two worlds...
Brought together...
By untold circumstances.

Amazing...
How words typed on a blank screen...
Can so touch ones heart.

And she can’t help but wonder...
What things would be like...
If only in a different time and space.

I must confess, I'm quite besotted
by all the poets in this place
the way I leave from work each day
is like a drag car race.

Seeing who's been on and wrote
new poems that are zingers
finding out if someone replied
to something from my fingers!

Cyber-netically we connect
and are surprised to find a friend
and as such, I certainly know
just when this poem should end.

Now.

Loved this all! I'm so glad you were inspired! It's nice to know something I wrote made an impression on someone.

Femme

I'm glad I was able to jest with you. I liked your poem, and I enjoyed my riposte. You write so beautifully.

Well, I think this poem is terrific. And accurate. We do form bonds here, through our poetry, that may never have been formed in life. Admiration is a form of love in my book. And we admire for the best reasons....by what is inside of the person, not looks, job title, wealth or status...but by the way they think, write and treat others. I would be happy to be your cyber-lover, PoetFemme Fatale, because I love what you do.

Dearest Balladeer - Well, r.Baker33 fell out of his chair when he read my poem here - now it's my turn to fall out of MY chair ! I'm so appreciative of your comments and for your liking my works - rather flattered would be a better phrase ! Your poetry is superb, and I strive to be but a fraction of that....Thanks for taking the time to reassure me in what I do...I love your work, Balladeer, so we're already mental lovers.... So glad you see it as I do...so glad...

Thank you everyone for your comments on this piece !! I was really curious as to how it would go over -- seems to have stirred up many different emotions ! Really appreciate all the comments & criticism -- that helps me know what my readers like or don't like...I'm working on "brushing up" & expanding my project of a self -published book, and I really need to know what the people enjoy reading! Thanks a million !!

Gosh! Ah, er..hm...hope it's not me! Not that there's anything wrong with that! LOL

It's hard (no pun) not to have a few favorites here - but I think you should wait a few days before you reveal who it is..keep them on their toes.
