Our family includes the young as families so often do,
as well as those who aren't so young, but take our mirth with moral view.
And neither young nor those so strung should cringe each time they click anew,
to find our home just too risqué - and quickly click themselves away.

I like to laugh like hardy har, and like to think I'm not a prude,
but Passion's not a single's bar where jokes are coarse and words are lewd.
So if your verse goes just too far, and if your words can be construed
suggestively and too risqué - post in Adult or go away!

I hope everyone will take this message as fair warning. This is our home, guys! You wouldn't allow your dog to soil the carpet in the living room, nor would you pile last night's trash in the middle of the sofa. And I won't tolerate Passions becoming a dumping ground for sexual innuendo and tasteless near-obscenity. Either clean it up, post it in the Adult Forum, or take it to someone else's home.

Oh Gawd.....I hope I'm not one of the guilty ones...I know I get naughty at times, and I forget which room I'm in - flipping back & forth...please forgive me if I step over the line at any time...and correct me on the spot so I don't make a boob of myself !

Thank you for your support, my friends. I had a funny feeling there would be others who felt the same. (And if not, it was destined to get darn lonely in here! )

Really - it's nice to hear I'm not just being a prudish ogre...

I suggest the threads be closed on offending poetry to prevent further replies....

...And so to you, my dear poets.
Let us go on and have our fun.
Keep writing entertaining poems -
We'll laugh at each's quips and puns.

But, if YOUR poem makes YOU quest
Which Passions Forum should be host???
No doubt it should be with the rest
Of deVine's feisty "Adult" posts!!!

Ron, your point is well taken...and thanks for getting it out sooner than later; however, with regard to dogs soiling and trash in the middle of the room...I'm not too sure about ******, but I believe he will get the hint.

If anyone has the slightest doubt about where to post their poem (if they think it might not be suitable for the open forum), please post it in the Adult Forum and if it's not bad, we'll direct you to the Open Forum.

I agree Ron

You should see how many people got upset about a little boy saving kittens from the river in my Little Boy Voices poem. I never dreamed there were so many people in here who didn't love kittens as much as me.

Incidently, if I do stray over the line, please delete to your heart's content. I will not take offense. I have more words to write that are suitable - the loss of a poem will not hurt me as much as the loss of a friend.

Well said Ron, it's nice to see someone take a positive, instead of angry stand!
